New Delhi : The NIA has uncovered a significant trail in its investigation into the November 10 blast near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station. The officials have revealed that the accused — Maulvi Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay from Shopian — allegedly kept AK-47 rifle for members of the suspected module.

According to officials, in October 2023, doctors Adeel Ahmad Rather and (suicide bomber) Umar Mohammad Nabi arrived at Masjid Ali with an AK-47 hidden in a bag. They reportedly cleaned the barrel inside the premises before leaving the weapon with Irfan. A month later, Dr Rather returned with the same rifle, and soon after, Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganai and his colleague, Dr Shaheen Shahid, also came to the mosque. All of them left the firearm in Irfan’
