India Today has accessed CCTV footage that was shown by the Delhi Police before the Supreme Court as part of its submissions in the ongoing Delhi riots case, where the police alleged that a Bangladesh-style regime-change protest was planned to coincide with then-US President Donald Trump’s visit.

Pointing to what it described as the "planned mobilisation of rioters in Chand Bagh," the police argued that the violence was not coincidental but an attempt at a "systematic regime change," drawing parallels to events in Bangladesh and Nepal. "Fortunately, it failed," the police told the court.
