Mohan Bhagwat, the Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), said on Friday in Imphal, the capital of Manipur, that the RSS is not against anyone. It was formed not to destroy, but to make society complete. He said that the Sangh neither engages in politics nor remotely controls any organization.

The RSS works only through friendship, affection, and social harmony. The Sangh is an institution dedicated to empowering society.

Bhagwat was holding a meeting with tribal leaders. Emphasizing India's civilization-based continuity, Bhagwat said, "We are one due to shared consciousness. Despite diversity, we belong to the same civilization family. Unity does not always demand equality."
