AUSTIN, Texas — Austin ISD is set to close 10 campuses after the district's Board of Trustees came to a final vote early Friday morning.

After the decision was made, AISD Superintendent Matias Segura sent a letter to families detailing the vote and expectations moving forward.

In the message, Segura said staff members will visit each of the impacted campuses after fall break to answer any questions ahead of the changes set for the 2026-2027 academic year.
