NJ Transit will provide extra bus and rail service through the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend to accommodate people attending the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Manhattan, those traveling to and from Newark Liberty airport and those headed to the malls on Black Friday .

And throughout the weekend, NJ Transit’s Family SuperSaver Fare will be in effect, which lets up to two kids aged 11 and younger travel free with each fare-paying adult.

The agency will offer extra “early getaway” rail and bus service on Wednesday, Nov. 26 to provide added capacity for those traveling to Newark Liberty International Airport and those leaving work early to start the holiday weekend.
