Andre Onana is not giving up hope of resurrecting his Manchester United career when he returns from his loan spell in Turkey and is open to moving to another Premier League club in order to keep his English dream alive.

Onana will spend the rest of this season at Super Lig side Trabzonspor having lost his first-team place at United due to a string of high-profile errors last season.

The Turkish club are understood to be keen on prolonging Onana’s time there after being impressed with him since his summer arrival. The i Paper has been told, however, that the Cameroon international still has aspirations of regaining the No 1 shirt at Old Trafford upon completion of his temporary exile.

Sources close to Onana are also not ruling out trying to engineer a move to another Premier League
