A new partnership will allow undergraduate students at Millsaps College to pursue an accelerated law degree at Ole Miss.

The two institutions recently signed a memorandum of understanding creating the pathway to law school initiative, giving students the opportunity to trim a year off the time needed to earn both a bachelor’s degree and a law degree.

Under the agreement, Millsaps students who complete a specific curriculum of undergraduate coursework can apply to and attend Ole Miss Law. After successfully finishing their first year of law school, Millsaps will count those credits and award the student their bachelor’s degree, paving the way to a J.D. completion earlier than usual.
