New Delhi: The much-delayed Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) elections would be held on December 7, it was confirmed on Friday. The Karnataka High Court on November 21 ordered the electoral officer to conduct the elections to various posts of the KSCA.
After this order was passed, contestants of Team Game Changers-led by former Indian bowler Venkatesh Prasad welcomed it. Originally, the election was scheduled to be held on November 30 but the KSCA electoral officer had postponed it until December 30 because of non-clarity among participants with regards to the 9-year-clause.
