A two-bedroom bungalow can be converted into a children’s care home despite privacy concerns from neighbours. Bury ’s planning committee approved the change of use of the home on Chiltern Drive, Tottington which had been applied for by Grove Estates Ltd.

The management plan submitted with the application said that the bungalow would home to two children with medium to long term placements. Each child would have an individual care plan, risk assessments, and appropriate supervision arrangements and the home would be regulated by Ofsted.
