A Des Moines Public Schools-funded investigation into the hiring of former-Superintendent Ian Roberts found consultant errors in the backgrounding process, but it stopped short of placing any blame on the school board.
The seven-member school board unanimously approved waiving attorney-client privilege and making the report public on Friday, Nov. 21. The board hired Dickinson Bradshaw law firm of Des Moines to prepare the report.
