Nine inmates at the Hamilton County Jail are facing assault and riot charges after jumping two new inmates on Friday, November 14.
Two inmates, Ronald Spence and Tyquan Vaughn, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after the fight, according to an arrest report obtained by Local 3 News.
Spence suffered from a potential fractured rib, lacerations, and internal injuries, while Vaughn had a possible broken jaw and orbital fracture.
Both inmates were introduced to the Bravo 3 housing unit around 1:00pm, before a verbal argument between Vaughn and a Robert Siler started getting "heated," the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says.
Siler went to gather a group of inmates, while Spence is seen by the main door on camera banging on it to alert jail staff.
