GREENWOOD, Ind. – The American Water Charitable Foundation , a philanthropic non-profit organization established by American Water, the largest regulated water and wastewater utility company in the U.S., and Indiana American Water announced Thursday that the Foundation has awarded $34,000 in State Strategic Impact grants to five Indiana-based community food distribution centers.
These organizations provide direct support for hunger relief efforts in their local communities. The new Whiteland/Greenwood Food Pantry was one of the Indiana organizations receiving funds and it collected $5000.
