SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Run for the Banquet is taking place on November 27!

Chris Jacob and Tamara Jerke-Liesinger with The Banquet joined Dakota News Now to tell us about the run and how you can get involved.

“In Sioux Falls, we have two different locations, and we provide 16 meals a week for those who just need a little extra support. So, right now, the run itself is just a freewill donation. We still don’t do a registration like a lot of runs do, and so that money goes directly to those meals and stuff that we provide weekly,” said Jacob.

“When we have good weather, which we’re keeping our fingers crossed for, we have upwards of 500, 600 people attend the event. It’s a suggested freewill donation, but every bit helps because The Banquet is 100% privately funded,” said J
