FOX TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - Ohio troopers say a Carrollton man died Thursday afternoon in a single-car crash.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. on State Route 524 near Avon Road in Fox Township.

The highway patrol has identified the victim as Gregory R. Sivets, 53.

According to troopers, Sivets was behind the wheel when his vehicle swerved off of both sides of the roadway.

During the crash, the highway patrols says the 53-year-old man struck a sign, mailbox and railroad tracks before coming to a stop in a driveway.

Sivets died on scene.

Troopers will continue investigating what caused the crash.
