The Chicago Bears could get a massive boost to their secondary this week, as Jaylon Johnson , who has not played since Week 2 after having core muscle surgery, seems primed to return. He registered a full practice on Thursday and could play against the Pittsburgh Steelers .

The Bears also are without standout nickel cornerback Kyler Gordon, who has become a stalwart of their secondary. In their places, Tyrique Stevenson and Nahshon Wright have started. C.J. Gardner-Johnson has stepped in at the nickel cornerback position over the last few weeks.

Still, Johnson’s return could signal a big boost to a secondary and defense that needs its talent back on the football field. However, they will have just as many issues at inside linebacker.
