WASHINGTON — Rumer Willis is sharing an update on her father and opening up on why it's hard for her to describe how Bruce Willis is doing amid his dementia diagnosis.

The legendary actor and father of five was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2022. The 70-year-old "Die Hard" star has rarely been seen in public since then .

"People always ask me this question, and I think it's kind of a hard one to answer because the truth is that anybody with FTD is not doing great. But he's doing OK in terms of somebody who's dealing with Frontotemporal dementia, you know what I mean?" Rumer Willis shared on Thursday while answering questions from her Instagram followers .
