Graeme Shinnie believes Aberdeen have turned a corner and knows there would be no better way of showing it than breaking Hearts. ‌

The Dons look to be out of their early season rut and started to put much-needed points on the board before the international break. ‌

Shinnie knows it is all about building up momentum going into a vital part of the season and beating the league leaders would really give them a shot in the arm. ‌

The captain acknowledged: “Are Hearts a target now? Potentially, it’s a bit similar to us last season.

“When you have a team who are high-flying, that’s usually the case.

“From our point of view this weekend, it doesn’t matter who we are playing this Sunday, we’re desperate to win to get up the table. ‌
