Jasveen Sangha asked the court to consider her 17 months of sobriety and past medical issues when sentencing her as she faces prison time for her role in Matthew Perry’s death, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On Thursday, November 20, Sangha’s powerhouse lawyer, Mark Geragos, filed court docs objecting to a report submitted by prosecutors.

The government argued Sangha, 42, “acted as an organizer and leader” due to her delegating tasks to her roommate and then-boyfriend. She said her asking her roommate to leave drugs in a lockbox and working with her boyfriend to pick up items do not show the two were “subordinate” to her in a hierarchy or that she “exercised decision-making” authority over them.
