Friday morning, Nov. 21, 2025 Miramichi Lodge long-term care home in Pembroke began responded to a temporary water disruption within the City of Pembroke and has implemented measures to provide continued safety, comfort, and care of residents.
The lodge is now being supplied with non-potable water through a dedicated water tank truck. This supply is connected to an electric pump that delivers water into the building’s system. In a press release issued on Friday afternoon, the County of Renfrew stated that pressure from this temporary setup will be lower than usual but it is sufficient to support essential functions.
