With a second consecutive day on the practice field, Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers continues to work through the fracture in his left wrist and prepare to play Sunday against the Bears at Soldier Field.

Coach Mike Tomlin declared Rodgers a partial participant in practice and questionable to play, but the starting quarterback appears to be trending in the right direction. He’s wearing a brace of some sort on his non-throwing hand and was also listed as a limited participant Thursday.

“I thought I saw a solid effort,” Tomlin said. “But it’s Friday, and we’ve still got some time. ... We’ll see where the weekend leads us.”

As for what that process looks like this weekend, Tomlin stated the obvious. He’s not a doctor and presumably did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
