Srinagar, Nov 21: National Conference (NC) president Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President & Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have expressed their profound condolences on the demise of Shabir Ahmad Dar of Harnag Khandiparie.

He was a long-standing and dedicated worker of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, who fought a chronic illness with courage for over a year, the party said in a statement issued here.

Shabir Dar, who had the privilege of working closely with NC stalwarts in south Kashmir, was widely respected for his dedication, commitment, and steadfast adherence to the principles of Sher-e-Kashmir. His passing is a significant loss to the party, who he served diligently, the statement added.
