STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Island seniors were afforded an evening of recognition, music, and community spirit at this year’s Golden Era Senior/Elder’s Dinner, hosted on Thursday at PS 18.

The annual celebration in West Brighton organized by Brothers Care Inc., Beyond Educational Enrichment, and the Staten Island Center For Hope, welcomed more than 80 guests for a night dedicated to honoring our borough’s seniors.

Guests were greeted with a hot buffet prepared by a team of Staten Island community chefs that offered a spread highlighting the generosity and talent of local culinary volunteers.

The atmosphere was further enhanced by classic Motown “oldies but goodies” provided by West Brighton’s DJ Murph (Eric Hines).
