A man from central Massachusetts is planning to run this weekend from Boston to Provincetown in 24 hours — an over 120-mile trek through winding roads and chilly November conditions.

Will Temple is a passionate fitness trainer who's taking on the challenge for a cause close to his heart. He's running to raise money for The Trevor Project, an organization working to prevent suicide among LGBTQ+ youth.

"I'm at my peak fitness right now, and I've built a good aerobic base ... why not now," Temple said, who's been training intensely in preparation for the charity run.

It's a cause close to Temple's heart, since his brother is transgender and he has other family members as well who are in the LGBTQ+ community.
