Oklahoma City police have arrested the parents of a 2-year-old toddler after she was mauled to death by a family pet earlier this week in northeast OKC.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to a welfare call at a home in the 1500 block of NE 26th St. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, where they were told that a baby was "not breathing and the baby was eaten by something."

Crews with the Crimes Against Children department responded to the call just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Upon arrival, police report that they found the deceased child, who had been mauled by one of the four family dogs.

OKCPD identified the victim as Locklyn McGuire, 2. She would have turned 3 years old in December.
