A 'breath-taking' drama hailed as the finest film of the year has landed on Netflix . ‌

Adapted from American writer Denis Johnson's novella of the same name, Train Dreams was brought to the screen by Oscar-nominated pair Greg Kwedar and Clint Bentley. ‌

The duo previously worked together on critically acclaimed film Sing Sing, which secured three nominations at this year's Academy Awards. ‌

They've struck gold once more with Train Dreams, which already boasts an impressive 94% Rotten Tomatoes score .

Set during early 20th Century America, the film chronicles the life of logger and railway worker Robert Grainier (played by Golden Globe nominee Joel Edgerton), reports Wales Online .
