SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WKOW) -- Sun Prairie police responded to a road rage incident involving a handgun near Windsor Street and North Bird Street on Thursday evening.
The suspect vehicle was later spotted. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the driver fled outside the officers' jurisdiction and they lost visual contact.
Later, a city Flock camera detected the vehicle, allowing officers to locate it and establish a perimeter. The driver was safely contacted, leading officers to identify a 26-year-old male suspect at a residence.
The suspect was arrested and taken to the Dane County Jail on a felony charge of fleeing and eluding.
The investigation remains active.
