MADISON (WKOW)— A high-speed chase in Madison ended with the arrest of CJ M. Hall, 33, after he attempted to flee police in a U-Haul truck. Hall, suspected of third offense OWI, led officers on a dangerous chase that began in the Dutch Mill Park and Ride.

Madison police initially found Hall asleep in the truck. Once he woke up, he refused to comply with their directives.

Officers say Hall fled, driving over tire deflation devices. He went through a red light, and Monona police officers started chasing him. Officers then executed multiple PIT maneuvers. The vehicle went into the ditch and was immobilized along County Highway N in Cottage Grove.
