The Lane Kiffin to Florida football drama will stretch at least one more week.

On X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter released a statement that an announcement on the 50-year-old's Kiffin future will come after the day after he coaches Ole Miss against rival Mississippi State, which is Nov. 28.

In the statement, Carter confirmed that he had "pointed and positive conversations" in a meeting with Kiffin on Nov. 21. Ole Miss Chancellor Glenn Boyle also attended the meeting.
