LAINGSBURG, Mich. (WILX) -Special guests visited Laingsburg High School Friday morning for the school’s annual Mentor Day, giving students the opportunity to interact with people working in professions they may want to pursue after graduation.
Professionals stopped in to share what their work looks like on good days and bad. They also discussed what it takes to get into those positions and what it takes to succeed.
Students interested in careers in broadcasting talked to News 10 Today anchors Seth Wells and Maureen Halliday. One Laingsburg senior said he is interested in becoming a meteorologist.
“They brought a lot of insight — not just the News 10 anchors — everyone that was here did a good job telling us what their job was like, their good days and bad days and everything in between,
