Drones have become more affordable, and as a result more accessible, to the public over the last several years, according to The Department of Homeland Security .
You may see more drones flying around your neighborhood as people are experimenting with the popular aircraft. Some people may be fine with the whirring, flying accessories, but others may be tempted to shoot them down.
However, it is illegal to shoot down drones in Nevada. In fact, it's illegal to shoot down drones in every state, even if it is hovering above your property, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
