BAYOU L'OURSE, La. — A man was arrested Wednesday in Assumption Parish after authorities said he secretly recorded his domestic partner in their home.

30-year-old Brandon Griffin, allegedly drilled a hole in a closet and placed a device to capture images of the person using the bathroom at the home in Bayou L' Ourse, according to the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they collected the photos and evidence when the complaint was filed on July 7.

Detectives later secured arrest warrants, and Griffin turned himself in at the Assumption Parish Detention Center Wednesday night.

He's now facing five counts of video voyeurism and remains in custody while awaiting a bond hearing, a release said.
