Former New Mexico State athletic director Mario Moccia has filed a formal complaint against the university, alleging it wrongfully terminated his employment and breached his contract.
Moccia's 34-page complaint was filed against the NMSU Board of Regents. He is seeking the remaining money and benefits left on his contract, along with court and attorney fees. Moccia had approximately $1.3 million on his contract when he was terminated.
