A jury of 16 has been chosen to hear the murder trial of Brian Walshe , the Cohasset man who allegedly killed and dismembered his wife in 2023.
After three days of jury selection, the final four jurors were seated Thursday. The trial is scheduled to begin with opening statements on Dec. 1, the Monday after Thanksgiving, and is expected to last two to three weeks, lawyers said.
Prosecutors allege that Walshe, 50, murdered Ana Walshe , 39, in the predawn hours of Jan. 1, 2023, in their home and then dismembered her, leaving her remains and personal items in various locations.
Prosecutors also allege that soon after the slaying, Walshe made a number of disturbing Google searches on his son’s tablet, including “how to embalm a body,” “10 ways to dispose of a dead body if you really
