NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell strongly hinted Friday that a city building a new stadium could soon host a Super Bowl for the first time.
Goodell was in Nashville, Tennessee, Friday for the topping-off ceremony for new Nissan Stadium, the new home of the Tennessee Titans that is expected to open in 2027. During a news conference before the ceremony, Goodell was asked about the chances of Nashville hosting a Super Bowl. Goodell seemed open to the idea, praising Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk in the process.
