CHARLOTTE, N.C. — New video released by the U.S. Attorney's office show another perspective of the car chase that led Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to accuse a man of allegedly hitting federal vehicles in Charlotte.

Miguel Angel Garcia Martinez, 24, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 17 on felony charges of assault on federal officers using a deadly or dangerous weapon.

According to an FBI affidavit, agents attempted to approach Martinez to warn him to stop interfering with the operation. Instead, he sped away, triggering the chase, investigators claim.

Martinez's brother Brayan Martinez, and sister-in-law, Lien Bermudez, say he was simply documenting the operation and not interfering.
