CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in identifying an unattended child who was found walking on the road in west Charlotte on Friday.
Police said on Friday, Nov. 21, around 4:45 p.m., a citizen found an unaccompanied 2-year-old girl who was walking on foot on Old Steele Creek Road.
Officials said the 2-year-old girl was wearing a pink shirt, her name is unknown, and she cannot communicate with officers.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for anyone who may be related to the child or who knows her or has any information to call 911 immediately.
