A system bringing the most plentiful accumulation of rain we’ve seen in a while moved through last night, and lingered into today. The University of Missouri campus accumulated almost two inches of rain, Boonville received just over an inch, while places like Mexico, Fulton, and Jefferson City didn’t quite hit the inch mark. As we look into the next several hours, rain chances fall quickly, with the aforementioned system moving completely out of the area early tomorrow morning. As this happens, clouds will also begin to break apart and move eastward.
