FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY: SATURDAY’S STORM SYSTEM
Saturday, particularly in the morning will be a KOMU 8 First Alert Weather Day due to the potential of at least some patchy slushy spots.
As precipitation looks to begin early Saturday it will start as a rain/snow mix. Temperatures will warm throughout this process and highs will climb to the upper 30s. This warmer air will allow for a transition to rain late Saturday morning. That said, the potential for snow is increasing especially for areas east of Highway 63 and north of I-70.
