Friday will feature increasing cloud cover across the region with highs in the upper 30s. Travel for Black Friday will be quiet and cloudy as precipitation chances won’t move into the region until late Friday night and early Saturday

FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY: SATURDAY’S STORM SYSTEM

Saturday, particularly in the morning will be a KOMU 8 First Alert Weather Day due to the potential of at least some patchy slushy spots.

As precipitation looks to begin early Saturday it will start as a rain/snow mix. Temperatures will warm throughout this process and highs will climb to the upper 30s. This warmer air will allow for a transition to rain late Saturday morning. That said, the potential for snow is increasing especially for areas east of Highway 63 and north of I-70.
