Increasing cloud cover today across the region with highs in the upper 30s. Travel for Black Friday will be quiet and cloudy as precipitation chances won’t move into the region until late Friday night and early Saturday.

Precipitation looks to begin around midnight Friday night for most of us and continue into the daytime on Saturday, starting as a rain/snow mix. Temperatures will warm throughout this process and highs will climb to the upper 30s. This warmer air will allow for a transition to rain late Saturday morning. That said, the potential for snow is increasing especially for areas east of Highway 63 and north of I-70.
