BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) - For the first time since losing their daughter Samantha to a motorcycle crash in May, the Burke family is speaking out publicly, hoping to find the man police say is responsible for causing the crash and her death.

“She was the glue that hold our family together, the one that took the pictures, the one that showed the funny videos, the one that made us all laugh,” her mother Kristina Burke said. “You met Sam, you love Sam. To know Sam was to love Sam. Everybody loved Sam.”

The Burkes are picking up the pieces after tragedy struck in May. Kristina Burke said she learned about the crash through a cell phone alert while running up stairs.
