STONEHAM, Mass. —
A 13-year-old boy was killed Friday after his dirt bike collided with a Toyota Corolla in Stoneham, Massachusetts.
The crash occurred on Oak Street around 4:30 p.m.
According to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan's office, the 73-year-old driver of the Toyota was making a left turn off of Oak Street onto Royal Street when the teen's electric dirt bike struck the vehicle.
The 13-year-old was transported to Mass. General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The boy's identity is not being released at this time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and it's unclear if the driver of the Toyota will face any charges.
