CINCINNATI —
The Cincinnati Bearcats and BYU Cougars are joining forces to fight food insecurity, just one day before their big Saturday showdown on the gridiron.
BYU donated 27,000 pounds of food to fight food insecurity, and this is a big need, with thousands of students using the food pantry every year. Advertisement
“This donation will allow us to ensure that we are providing service to students through the course of the next couple of months,” Daniel S. Cummins with UC Student Affairs said.
Thirty percent of college students nationwide are considered food insecure, making the donation especially important.
This is a common practice from BYU when they go on the road during football and basketball seasons.
