A man was seriously injured after coming into contact with live power lines while working on a building on Friday afternoon, Nov. 21, pronounced announced.

Feng Chen, 36, of Flushing, was pressure washing the second story of 727 Suffolk Avenue in Brentwood while standing on a scissor lift when he touched overhead power lines at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, according to the Suffolk County Police.

Chen was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries, police said. Detectives with the Third Squad are asking anyone with information to call 631-854-8352.
