BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A jury has found Ryan Sharpe guilty in his murder trial after rejecting the defense’s insanity plea following a long day of testimony from officials who investigated the case and people who knew Sharpe.
The defense had argued Sharpe was not guilty by reason of insanity. They called two longtime friends of Sharpe and his sister to the stand, all of whom said they noticed a change in Sharpe’s behavior before and around the time of the killings.
