LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36NEWS NOW) – Kentucky bounced back on Friday night, rolling past Loyola Maryland 88-46 just days after a tough loss to Michigan State.
The wildcats were once again without Jaland Lowe, whom Mark Pope described as “day-to-day” as the staff continues to evaluate his long-term availability. Kentucky was also missing Mo Dioubate, sidelined with an ankle injury.
Despite the shorter rotation, the cats delivered an efficient offensive performance, shooting 49% from the field and 37% from three. Kam Williams and Collin Chandler shared team-high honors with 13 points each, with Chandler knocking down three triples. Brandon Garrison controlled the glass, finishing with 11 rebounds.
Kentucky returns to action at Rupp Arena next Wednesday, November 26, when they host Tennessee
