KAPOLEI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police arrested a woman Friday afternoon after she allegedly violated a temporary restraining order and kicked a police officer.

At around 12:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of an argument on Kapolei Parkway.

While police detained the woman, she allegedly began resisting the officers and kicked one of them in the stomach.

The injured officer later sought medical treatment and was released in good condition.

Police arrested the woman on suspicion of violating a TRO and first-degree Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer.
