WASHINGTON D.C., DC — Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, D-Dallas, said in a Thursday statement that someone "showed up" at her Washington, D.C. office and "made white supremacist threats and hand gestures."
Crockett said everyone is safe and thanked Capitol police for their quick response to the incident. No other details about who made the alleged threats or the incident were immediately available.
“Today an individual showed up to my D.C. office and made white supremacist threats and hand gestures. Everyone is safe, and I want to thank Capitol Police for their swift response," Crockett said in a statement. "But let me be crystal clear: this cannot become the norm."
