Family and loved ones are demanding justice after a 20-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision in Hialeah last month.
Speaking to NBC6, Emily Puentes said she and her boyfriend, Aby Gonzalez, were driving on West 20th Avenue on Oct. 27 when a driver slammed into them head-on.
Investigators said that the driver was 21-year-old Kevin Britorios, who was speeding in the wrong lane.
“(He had) no intention of stopping or turning from us,” Puentes said. “If it wasn't us, it would have been the guy right behind us.”
Puentes was the passenger, and the crash broke her jaw. Her boyfriend died at the hospital the next day.
