PORTLAND, Ore. — The city of Portland said the enforcement of illegally parked, lived-in vehicles will begin next week.
According to the city , enforcement will begin on Monday, Nov. 24.
Owners whose vehicles are towed from the right-of-way will incur standard tow fees. Towing fees will be $250 for small and medium RVs, boats, tiny homes and passenger vehicles, with large RVs incurring $353.
If the vehicle is to be driven off the tow lot, its owner needs to show proof of ownership, insurance and a valid driver's license.
If a vehicle is not claimed, its owner is liable for costs and expenses incurred by the city for towing, storage, administrative, and demolition of hazardous or abandoned vehicle. Vehicles not retrieved by their owners within 30 days that require disposal will incur a
