CULLMAN, Ala. —

Cullman's Christkindlmarkt has returned, bringing authentic German food and fun for the whole family, along with a significant economic impact for the community.

Nathan Anderson, executive director of Cullman Parks and Recreation, said, "We're estimating somewhere around $40 million in economic impact."

The market, which began as a small, one-night-only event in 2019, has grown significantly. Anderson said, "In a few short years, we have now grown to nearly 100 vendors, over 1,500 linear feet of wooden hut space full of merchandise, authentic German goods, and authentic, delicious food."

In just the last year, the market has expanded over 2.5 acres, attracting visitors from across the country and the globe.
